Bell'Italia In Viaggio...ad Olivola!
Bell'Italia In Viaggio...ad Olivola!

The troupe of Bell'Italia. In viaggio, the well-known programme broadcast on La7 with the mission of telling the story of the most beautiful places in Italy, this time was a guest among the infernot and the vineyards of Villa Guazzo Candiani on the occasion of the episode entirely dedicated to Piedmont.

The broadcast will take place on Sunday 4 July at 18:45. The show will be directed by Matteo Ricca; among the authors, Nicola Montese.

Actor Fabio Troiano will be the presenter, who together with General Manager Mauro Moro, will tell the story of the historic residence, which dates back to the 16th century, and visit the Villa's Infernot, part of the official Unesco circuit.

The mansion dates back to 1585 and was owned by the Marquises of Monferrato and later by the Curioni Guazzi family, who held the town under the title of Counts. Their memories can be found in the small church of San Sebastiano, now deconsecrated, which flanks the main building. Over the centuries, the property passed to the noble Candiani family, whose most illustrious members included Count Camillo, who was born here. It is precisely because of the garden with its paths and centuries-old trees that the villa is still known as the residence of the "Bel Riposo".

The filming took place in the most evocative corners of the estate, from the landscapes on the hillsides planted with vines at sunset to the details of the villa and the basement, once used to store wine.

Villa Guazzo Candiani is open to the public for aperitifs, lunches, dinners and afternoon snacks on Friday (from 6 pm with music by TheDouble DJ-set), Saturday and Sunday (all day); booking recommended, free visit to the Infernot for customers.
